family therapy and Parenting
Family therapy involves identifying patterns of interaction that may be impeding the connection you desire in your relationships. We will view your family in its cultural and historical context, and explore the ways in which each person contributes both to maintaining interactions viewed as problematic, and to their solutions.
I also have training and experience in supporting parents, including practicing infant mental health. I use a connection-based approach to parenting support grounded in theory and research on attachment and neuroscience. I view social and emotional development as foundational to a child’s ability to master other areas of growth and learning.
